Headshots will be clear professional pictures of you.  The first photo is high-quality from head to shoulder photo. If you are an Instrumentalist, you must show a full-body frame with close-up shots of embouchure, hands, and face. Also, you should have a second photo of you playing the instrument you have highlighted. At this point, this may require a larger photo. The headshots can be in either black & white or color and should be from the shoulders up or can be a close-up of your face. The headshots will assist in increasing your online presence and provide viewers with an expectation of who you are and your style.  

Headshot size: 

2400 x 2400 pixels or greater preferred. 800 x 800 pixels minimum
File Type: JPG or PNG
Resolution: 72 dpi

Your music tracks will help us assess your overall abilities as a composer/artist and your potential for success. We recognize that it is common to have imbalances in playing abilities and that you may not have advanced skills in each aspect of the audition. We require Three (3) instrumental music tracks to assist us in seeing where you are currently in your composer/artist or musicianship and learn how you might further develop your skills. Tracks should be a minimum of three (3) minutes and a maximum of four (4) minutes.

Additionally, we aim to see how your specific genre and music will flow to help us meet our goals, as well as give you the experience and exposure to the millions of listeners that may enjoy your style of music. We ask that you be consistent in selecting where to upload your music. Also, we suggest the following file name (e.g., john-doe-musictrk1-01312022)

Please be informed that WCM will occasionally host a segment called “WCM’s Featured Artist” as we become familiar with specific genres and styles of music. More details will follow as this project is implemented." 
For consideration in this project the following information will be required in addition to the above-mentioned collaboration contract.
Please note the following information is optional if you are not interested in accepting an invitation as a “WCM Featured Artist”.
 

WCM requires a Composer/Artist profile for any composer/artist or musician who is invited to be a featured artist. The Artist profile is a fillable document that includes your name, age, home location, music genre, etc.  This document can be downloaded from:  https://www.wordconsciousnessmusic.com
Once completed, please upload the document by going to the same link.  Please use your first initial, last name-AP (Composers/Artists-Profile), and date to name your file. e.g. (Jdoe-AP-04222022)
